How It All Begin

Dan McQuade and Paul Neves both grew up with a love for seafood. 

They teamed up to start KnowSeafood, aiming to change the seafood industry by focusing on trust, transparency, and quality instead of profit.

Passing the Torch: A New Chapter

As KnowSeafood grew, Dan and Paul realized the company needed a new perspective to expand globally. 

One afternoon, they decided it was time for a leadership change.

“Paul,” Dan began, “to truly scale, we need someone with a broader vision, someone who can push us to the next level internationally.”

Paul nodded, “I agree, but it has to be someone who shares our passion. Someone who knows our roots.”

After considering several options, Dan suggested Olivia Mitchell, a trusted partner who had been with the company from the beginning with expertise in Seafood Shelf Life & Storage Industry. 

Then, Dan and Paul approached Olivia, discussing the company’s vision and future direction. 

Olivia, having seen the passion and dedication behind KnowSeafood, agreed to step up and take on the role of CEO.

Olivia’s Vision for the Future

As CEO, I am excited to lead KnowSeafood into its next chapter. 

Having been part of this incredible team from the beginning, I am ready to lead the company. 

With my background in Food Science, I solely focus on the critical factors that keep seafood fresh, safe, and sustainable. 

“My goal is simple: to make KnowSeafood the go-to choice for everyone who are struggling to find out about the ideas on seafood.”

With an amazing team of other partners together, we’ll continue to grow KnowSeafood, bringing more sustainable seafood recipes, their shelf life, seafood ideas globally.
