Beer Battered Cobia Burger with Cusabi Cole Slaw
A new take on a fish sandwhich featuring our Cobia burgers!
1 Cobia Burger
1 Kaiser Roll
1 egg, beaten 1 cup cold beer
1 cup self-rising flour or cake flour
¼ Teaspoon salt ¼ Teaspoon white pepper 3 oz Pre - mixed shredded slaw mix
Cusabi Dressing (to taste)
Mix the egg and beer in a bowl. Combine the flour and seasoning in a separate bowl. Add the flour mixture to the beer mixture and gently poke with fork until it is a loose batter. Don’t overdo it as it should have some lumps. Dredge the burger into the batter and fry until done In a mixing bowl put the shredded slaw mix and pour the Cusabi dressing on top until well coated. n down the dressing making it wetter. Don’t saturate as it sits the cabbage will purge and thi Once the burger is fried, drain any oil on paper towels and place on Kaiser Roll. Top with the Cusabi Slaw and serve with fries, onion rings or chips.
