Only from harvesters we trust
Aurora Salmon is raised in fjords surrounded by the magnificent scenery of northern Norway with its spectacular light. The feed for Aurora Salmon results from a wide range of conscious choices to ensure the fish get all the vitamins and nutrients they need without introducing antibiotics into their diets. They are also fed with micro-algae to secure a high level of health, benefitting omega3-fatty acids.
Additionally, the free-flowing marine waters keep the fish healthy, active, and stress-free, contributing to the clean taste and flakey texture they’re known for. Aurora Salmon has the highest amount of Omega-3 fatty acids than any other salmon that we tested against. So, if you’re looking for the world’s best salmon, you’ve found it here!
My overall experiences with KnowSeafood have all been really great! Thanks Mary
I have ordered this salmon a few times and enjoy it so much! My family loves it too. Yummy!!
I cooked this in a sous vide bath at 130° for 40 minutesb using ⅛ cup maple syrup ⅛ tsp liquid smoke 1 sprig fresh rosemary heavy pinch salt ⅛ tsp shichimi togarishi Then I seared the salmon in butter and olive oil in a cast iron pan and made a glaze from the reserved juices from the sous vide bath and 3tbsp of Vermouth letting it cook down to thicken. The salmon was juicy and buttery and the glaze was delicious. Served it with couscous. 5 stars!
The salmon was very enjoyable.
No complaints here. Fresh, good portions, happy customer.
My overall experience with KnowSeafood was great as always! This salmon was purchased specifically for my 10 year old grandson who is staying with us for a month while he goes to day camp. He is a salmon fiend and just asked me to make it sor the second time in a week. How great is that!?
We love Aurora Salmon!
My whole family loves this salmon. It has a milder flavor, and it’s something I can make that everyone eats. My favorite is to cook in the air fryer with a brown sugar rub (w/paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, and Italian seasoning). 10-12 minutes and dinner is served.
Just like fresh.
The Aurora Salmon was light and flaky. The flavor was perfect without a hint of fishiness. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Great For dinner today I made the Aurora Salmon with brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder glaze. Roast for 11 minutes at 400 degrees and it was just perfect!!
Pan seared - YUM!
Served with a little lemon juice and prepared horseradish. So good! And, easy to thaw. This is why I ordered again. Thx!
I’ve enjoyed all purchases so far.
Great stuff: from a WA state salmon lover
Being from Western WA, I routinely can get 5 types of salmon throughout a year (even tribal caught from them directly). Aurora salmon is a new variety for us and we find it to be excellent!
This fish was delicious and definitely sashimi grade fish. It was still frozen solid when delivered. I will definitely be ordering again. The only different between this fish and restaurant fish when making sushi is since this fish is frozen it loses some color as it thaws.
The best salmon ever
I was buying this terrific salmon and making sashimi and then I baked it. Holy Moly! That’s is the silkiest fish. 375 for 22 minutes with a bit of olive oil and oregano. Yum yum. Highly recommend!
