Only from harvesters we trust
Harvested in an area in the North Atlantic called Georges Bank, our wild-caught, sustainable KnowSeafood Signature haddock fillets have been a New England favorite for generations.
Fishing out of our home town of New Bedford, Massachusetts, the local fishermen sail their trawlers to this nutrient-dense body of water and spend a few days towing their nets to land these native fish. Since there are limitations to how much haddock can be harvested, fish are caught to a quota and are not overfished.
Once back to the New Bedford docks, these fresh fish are processed, hand-filleted, packaged, and blast-frozen within hours of being caught.

Open Blue takes extreme care to raise the perfect fish from their state-of-the-art hatchery to their offshore open ocean farms. Open Blue is a pioneer in deep water, open ocean mariculture – their fully submersible SeaStations situated 8 miles offshore are designed to withstand the most challenging ocean conditions such as strong currents, high wind speeds, and wave heights.
Determined to create the most innovative and sustainable operation possible, Open Blue selected the Caribbean coastal waters of Panama as an ideal location and Cobia as the perfect fish to feed a growing world – a fish with great flavor and texture, rich in Omega-3 and a minimal environmental footprint.
I had been told that Cobia was a lot like tilapia, and that made me hesitate, because tilapia, like catfish, tastes like dirt to me. But I had it in a restaurant once, and I did not recall such a thing, so I splurged and ordered some. I prepared it simply; salt and pepper, broiled 3 minutes each side, sauced with some brown butter, lemon, and parsley. Incredible. I can see butter or olive oil poaching this, or adding it as the white fish in Cioppino. And the quality of the product was first rate.
Meh..... other fish is better
Too pricey and not tasty enough... much better fish out there for half the cost. If this was 18 bucks per order then maybe I'd get it again.
Cobia is wonderful
Awesome, I love this fish a lot. Meaty, holds up to cooking in a frying pan with just butter like a steak and has an amazing texture and flavor.
Very happy I chose to try Cobia - delicious.
Loved the Cobia, it was firm and delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try a new fish.
I got this as a fee add-on when I placed my order. I'd never heard of cobra and wanted to check it out. My customers didn't know what it was, either, but I made two meals to give to top customers as a gift, and they both loved it. I will definitely buy more.
Loved the Rainbow trout
I just got my first shipment and all I’ve had is the rainbow trout but it was so delicious tonight we’re gonna have the haddock. It’s so nice to be able to get some different kinds of fish then from Kroger here in Bowling Green Kentucky. Thank you for what you do to get us fresh fish.
Great at all points...great seafood, great service and great deals/sales.
